Weather Together shaker card for Hello! Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue Week 3, a new hop every Friday!

I’m so pleased to see the Weather Together stamp set featuring an umbrella in the new catalogue, but it’s more than just a stamp set, there’s coordinating framelits dies too! Gulp!

For this weeks hop I’ve made a shaker card, I love making shaker cards and it’s made even easier when using the cellophane bag technique. Over the years I’ve tried a couple of ways of making a shaker card, with and without a bag, but using a cellophane bag is always my preferred way because the shaker parts don’t stick to the foam adhesive strips on the inside.

Weather Together Photopolymer Bundle

Inside the shaker I’ve put die cut Calypso Coral hearts and Pool Party rain drops from the Umbrella Weather Framelits Die. I also added some crystals which are from a retired Stampin’ Up! Christmas card kit. The raindrop pattern paper is from the pretty paper stack A Little Foxy

Lastly have you noticed the little blue heart? This is a brand new product from the 2016-2018 In Colour Enamel Shapes. They’re just like our pearls, but coloured and in fun shapes. I’m really excited about these and are one of my favourite items to feature this year.

Sarah, Could you tell me which size cellophane bags you used on the shaker card?

Sure! I used the large rectangle ones from SU, but cut it to size. It all depends on the size of the circle and card you choose to use. 🙂 You need to seal the open sides with Washi tape.
