Christmas Reindeer card with Merry Patterns stamp set

Sarah Berry Stampin’ Up! UK Independent Demonstrator | Christmas Reindeer card with Merry Patterns stamp set

This is my first play with the exclusive Merry Patterns stamp set. I’ve fallen for the reindeer which has a filigree pattern on his back. Doesn’t it look like they’re all wearing Christmas jumpers?

The Merry Patterns set is on available as a freebie gift only, you cannot purchase this set but instead you earn it with a qualifying purchase during September and October 2017.

It’s a photopolymer set that you can get for free with a party total or individual order of £250. Many of my customers have been asking their crafty friends for orders just to get their hands on this exclusive set. Wow! It’s available to earn until the end of October only.

There are two stamps which make up the reindeer. You can use them together or separately, it’s up to you! Can you see the reindeer outline on the base card? That’s the first of the two stamps. I’ve stamped a random background of reindeer outlines in Crumb Cake ink. On the top Whisper White layer, I have stamped the outline in Early Espresso this time and used the second stamp to fill in the white space with Crumb Cake ink.

The texture on the Garden Green cardstock strip is made from the Cable Knit Embossing Folder. Isn’t it clever? The embossing folder is a 3D dynamic folder, which means it gives you a deeper impression. It’s a thicker folder so it means you only need one clear plate when running it through the Big Shot, not two like you normally do.

I hope you like today’s Christmas card, I know it’s only September BUT we have only 13 weeks and 3 days until Christmas day!
