Hello everyone! Today I’m waking up in a Holiday Inn in Birmingham because I’m here for our Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators craft weekend. I’m really excited for what the next couple of days has in store. I shall be posting photographs at some point next week for you to see. There’s various projects and classes planned, with my Specialty Products Masterclass taking place on Sunday. Last night I met up with Frances, Judith, Joy and Pamela who are lovely ladies in my Strawberry Stampers demonstrator team. We had a delicious meal at Browns, and they all received a hand made gift from myself for attending the weekend.
When demonstrators get together we always make something called ‘swaps’. Swaps can be card fronts, or 3D items, made with Stampin’ Up! products. For mine I’ve made 36 of these bird boxes which contain a little Lindt chocolate treat. Today I’ll swap a bird box with every person there, in return for their own hand made swap. I’ll come away with lots of different ideas for projects. I do love swapping!!
Last week I received this pretty card from my fellow demonstrator friend Jenny McCormac and I just had to take a photo of it along with the bags I made for my Strawberry Stamper ladies. What a perfect colour match! For tonight’s meal about 25 of us are headed to Jamie’s Italian, I’ve not been before so I’m not sure quite what to expect, but I’m really looking forward to it. That’s all for now, see you again soon. 🙂
